Terms & Conditions
These Terms and Conditions apply to all services provided by Safe Lee Inspection & Consultancy.
By instructing us to carry out inspections, examinations, or reporting services, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions unless otherwise agreed in writing.
Definitions
In these Terms and Conditions:
“We”, “us”, or “our” refers to Safe Lee Inspection & Consultancy
“You” or “the client” refers to the individual or organisation instructing us
“Services” refers to inspection, examination, and reporting services carried out by us
“Report” refers to any report of inspection or thorough examination issued following our services
Scope of Services
We provide statutory and non statutory inspections and examinations of plant and equipment in accordance with relevant UK health and safety legislation, including but not limited to:
LOLER
PSSR
COSHH
PUWER
WAHR
Our services are limited to inspection, examination, and reporting. We do not provide legal advice, design services, risk assessments, or consultancy unless expressly agreed in writing.
Appointments and Access
You are responsible for ensuring that equipment is available, accessible, and safe to inspect at the agreed time.
Where inspections cannot be completed due to lack of access, unsafe conditions, or unavailable equipment, additional charges may apply.
Fees and Payment
Fees will be agreed prior to work commencing unless otherwise stated.
Invoices are payable within the agreed payment terms. Late payment may result in additional charges or suspension of services.
Reports and Documentation
Reports are issued following inspection and reflect the condition of the equipment at the time of examination only.
Reports do not guarantee future condition or performance of equipment and should not be relied upon beyond their intended purpose.
Reports may be issued electronically unless otherwise agreed.
Client Responsibilities
You are responsible for:
Ensuring equipment complies with manufacturer instructions and legal requirements
Acting on defects or recommendations identified in reports
Maintaining inspection records as required by law
Ensuring equipment is not used where defects present a risk to safety
Responsibility for compliance remains with the duty holder at all times.
Limitation of Liability
Our liability is limited to losses arising directly from negligence in the provision of our services.
We are not liable for indirect, consequential, or economic losses, including loss of profit, production, or business interruption.
Nothing in these Terms and Conditions limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence where such limitation is not permitted by law.
Confidentiality
All information obtained during the provision of services will be treated as confidential and will not be disclosed to third parties except where required by law or with your consent.
Cancellation and Rescheduling
If you need to cancel or reschedule an appointment, reasonable notice should be provided.
Late cancellations or missed appointments may be subject to a charge to cover time and costs incurred.
Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
Any disputes arising from services provided shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
